There comes some time an end to all things, to the good and to the bad.

no one's good luck lasts forever.

Remember, no human condition is ever permanent. Then you will not be overjoyed in good fortune, nor too sorrowful in misfortune.

And remember, no matter how bad you feel, nothing lasts forever.

Nothing is permanent. Tomorrow the caravan moves on. The wheels turn. The flowers bloom and die. The good we do in bad times is a seed planted for others to harvest. Evil is a dark hole in creation, where good may once have flourished, where it may take root again one starlit night, when the wounded world murmurs in a healing sleep.

Anything that can't go on forever will eventually stop.

Everything wears out eventually; nothing is permanent. Change is the one constant of life.

Bad times, hard times, this is what people keep saying; but let us live well, and times shall be good. We are the times: Such as we are, such are the times.

All good things pass away.

The good times of today are the sad thoughts of tomorrow.

But it is the nature of life that no emotion is meant to last forever...

The secret is not to get too attached to any of life, good or bad. The good times will come and then they will go. The bad times will come and then they will go. Our job is not to cling to one or to fight the other but to allow them both to teach us and polish us.

Because things are the way they are, things will not stay the way they are.
