All is flux, nothing stays still

Ever-newer waters flow on those who step into the same rivers. All is flux, nothing stays still.

Everything changes and nothing stands still.

Things of this world are in so constant a flux that nothing remains long in the same state.

All things are in motion, all is in process, nothing abides, nothing will ever change in this eternal moment.

My vessel is launched on the boundless main and my sails are spread to the wind ! In the whole of the world there is nothing that stays unchanged. All is in flux. Any shape that is formed is constantly shifting.
Time itself flows steadily by in perpetual motion. Think of a river: no river can ever arrest its current, nor can the fleeting hour. But as water is forced downstream
by the water behind it and presses no less on the water ahead, so time is in constant flight and pursuit, continually new. The present turns into the past and the future replaces the present; every moment that passes is new and eternally changing.

Todo en la tierra está en un continuo flujo: nada conserva una forma constante y quieta, y los afectos nuestros, que se vinculan a las cosas exteriores, pasan y cambian necesariamente como ellas. Siempre delante o detrás de nosotros, recuerdan el pasado que ya no es o previenen el porvenir que por lo común no será: no hay ahí nada sólido a lo que el corazón pueda agarrarse.

Nothing persists, said the ancient sages: everything changes, everything flows, everything becomes; consequently, everything remains and everything is connected; by further consequence the entire universe is opposition, balance, equilibrium. There is nothing, neither outside nor inside, apart from that eternal dance; and the rhythm that commands it,

No single thing abides; and all things are fucked up.

There is nothing constant in the universe. All ebb and flow, and every shape that's born, bears in its womb the seeds of change.

Life, at its best, is a flowing, changing process in which nothing is fixed.

That nothing is static or fixed, that all is fleeting and impermanent, is the first mark of existence. It is the ordinary state of affairs. Everything is in process. Everything — every tree, every blade of grass, all the animals, insects, human beings, buildings, the animate and the inanimate — is always changing, moment to moment. We don’t have to be mystics or physicists to know this. Yet at the level of personal experience, we resist this basic fact. It means that life isn’t always going to go our way. It means there’s loss as well as gain.

For all bodies are in perpetual flux like rivers, and parts are passing in and out of them continually.
