As our power over others increases, we become less free; for to retain it, we must make ourselves its servants.

Choice depends on the freedom to choose and if you are shackled with debt you don’t have the freedom to choose.

Translation: Those who are indebted are not free.

If someone is giving us something, that’s because we’re incapable of getting it for ourselves.

When we forget our ability to choose, we learn to be helpless.

"My gift to you will be to take away your freedom of choice for a while. Freedom can be very unhealthy and unproductive. Instead, you’ll have freedom from choice.”

You refuse to own yourself, you permit others to do it for you

Whenever we seek to avoid the responsibility for our own behavior, we do so by attempting to give that responsibility to some other individual or organization or entity. But this means we then give away our power to that entity.

The financial capacity of many citizens limits them from taking this legal route and they are left with no choice but to accept whatever they are given.

We are free till we make choices. After that, the choice controls us and we have no more choice.

Our global responsibility now is not to determine who owns what identity, but to convey to future generations what we all owe each other.

One of the consequences of such notions as ‘entitlements’ is that people who have contributed nothing to society feel that society owes them something, apparently just for being nice enough to grace us with their presence.

To say you have no choice is to relieve yourself of responsibility.

We the people have been told there is no choice. You must buy or pay the new — the IRS.
