Don’t you want to be alive before you die?

I am not ready to die because it requires infinitely higher courage to live.

"If you are prepared to die, you are prepared to live.”

If being prepared for death entails knowing when and where it will happen, the odds are you will not be prepared. Not only are you bound to die and leave this world; you are bound to leave it in such a precipitate fashion that the present significance of anything — your relationships, your plans for the future, your hobbies, your possessions — will appear to have been totally illusory.

When it's time to die, go ahead and die, and when it's time to live, live. Don't sort-of-maybe live, but live like you're going all out, like you're not afraid.

Don't prepare for death. Do preparations for living. When you die, you will only return to the ground.

I don't think we are ready to die, any of us, not without being escorted.

Everyone knows they're going to die, but nobody believes it.... So we kid ourselves about death.... But there's a better approach. To know you're going to dies, and to be prepared for it at any time....Do what the Buddhists do...ask, Is today the day? Am I ready? Am I doing all I need to do? Am I being the person I want to be?

You don't know how to live until you learn how to die.

If you have not discovered something you are willing to die for, then you are not fit to live.
