What it is to be a lady is just to carry yourself with respect.

Women are gifts, open them with care, judge them with leniecy, test and weigh their depths, then accept those with true worth and value.

One ought not to be unkind to a woman merely on account of her plainness, any more than one had a right to take liberties with her merely because she was handsome.

It is necessary to be particularly on your guard with regard to the young ladies, into whose company you are introduced - it is perfectly well understood in society that ladies may shew to youths in the position of Private Pupils a sort of kindness and attention, which they would not think of shewing if these youths were a little older and more out of the world.

I am parshial to ladies if they are nice I suppose it is my nature. I am not quite a gentleman but you would hardly notice it but cant be helped anyhow.

Every beautiful creature of God will always be admired. But the ability to live a decent and God-fearing life depends on the ways you handle your admirers. So, I handle men politely, with respect and sensitivity

My own advice is that ladies should dress the way they want to be addressed. If a man sees you responsibly, he treats you responsibly and vice versa.
