Another area I am deeply passionate about is the education of the people in the region. Without an educated populace, it becomes challenging for them to actively participate in the development of their community.

University education is critical and it is been ignored in countries like Somalia, South Sudan Northern Niger, Chad.

Accessibility to higher education remains a big challenge particularly for students from rural Uganda.

We need university education in Fiji and must seriously think about starting post secondary education in Fiji. In the near future we hope to see a university college in Fiji and ultimately a fully fledged university

And where there is ignorance, there is also want of learning and instruction in essentials.

We've tried ignorance for a thousand years. It's time we try education.

Education is the key to bridging the gaps in our technical skills, business knowledge, branding, marketing, and positioning.

Educators everywhere must seek new ways to promote the idea that learning is something a student does with books and materials, and a teacher who cares; that learning can happen in college and outside; and that a student's intellectual growth depends far less on geography (which college) than on what advantage he takes of the opportunities which surround him wherever he is.

We cannot deny that people who know more about the educational needs of local people are those who work and live within that community.

To improve innovation in Africa, we need to invest more in education. You cannot innovate when you do not have a good education.

Major changes are required in the education – we need to raise our behavioral standards; we need to instill the essential sense of identity. Its desire is that what is weak in the higher education of the country should be strengthened, and that what is already excellent should be made accessible to all.
