While hard-working women play a vital role in all sectors of the workforce, they're given little opportunity to thrive – something she wants to change.

I just have a feeling, a very strong feeling, that if ever this world is civilized, that it would be more the work of women.

It is a mans world, so they like to say and think but we all know that really isn’t the case – for me women just need to work together a lot more

I identified with both women. But Emma had a stronger message for the women I want to speak to now— women who work. I wanted to tell them that choosing to work doesn't make them oddballs and isn't antisocial.

We want to see more women in the leadership structures.

Women have to be willing to work and produce, and not just expect favors because they are women.

I want people to see that women are capable and accepted. I want to see people like me in powerful positions to know they’re looking out for women like me too.

I think women need more representation. Not just because we are women, but because we are incredible athletes. Incredible athletes should all be given the same opportunities.

For me, the mission is that all women should be included, and I feel I have a responsibility to bring more women in.

While I think men and women are equal, they are also different and I think it's inevitable and I don't think it's a bad thing at all that we always have, say, more women doing things like physiotherapy and an enormous number of women simply doing housework

. Remembering that what women need… is a voice and a job

I also believe that no matter at what level of your career, as a woman you have to have a good balance between your work life and your family life.

In many cases, women need to be more open to taking risks in their careers.

To be a woman is hard. In any, anywhere. And in all parts of the world, it’s hard.
