Moral clarity is the lens that brings the world into sharp focus.

Truth and clarity are complementary.

When the intention is clear, the symbols, the acts, and objects that embody and personify it come clear.

Clear. Decisive. Purposeful.

It embodies, perhaps more clearly than anything else I've written, the central theme of all my work: namely, that clearheaded, unflinching, rational thinking is the only effective way to deal with reality.

The true purpose is to see things as they are, to observe things as they are, and to let everything go as it goes.

As truly as the mystic, the scientist is following a light; and it is not a false or an inferior light.
