Certainly you will have doubts. There will be questionings and faith will return again. That is how faith is established.

Faith is not a certainty. Faith is the courage to live with uncertainty.

Some laymen feel that, out of loyalty, they ought to cling to ancient ways of expressing the Christian faith and that to doubt is to sin. But doubt is not the enemy of faith. It is the growing edge of faith. . .

Some readers will no doubt say that a devil is inside me; and though my faith is a bit like Magic FM in the Chilterns, in that the signal comes and goes, I can only hope that isn't so.
