He felt himself, and did not want to be anyone else. All he wanted now was to be better than before.

Was it worth it? To lose part of who he had been in order to live free? Perhaps this new self was better than the old.

Be that self that one is

He's what he is, that's it. Maybe that makes him strong enough, being what he is.

Be who you really are, not who you allowed yourself to become.

He didn’t want to be what he wasn’t, he didn’t know how to be what he was.

Let me be, was all I wanted. Be what I am, no matter how I am.

I found that I could choose who I was, and most importantly, that who I was didn’t have to be changed by what other people thought of me.

You just had to be yourself.

Let me be that I am and seek not to alter me.
