Whatever there is to know, That shall we know one day.

Translation: although we don't know the meaning for everything now, we will soon

the strange ideas we derive today will one day be our celebrated truths

To know and yet (think) we do not know is the highest (attainment); not to know (and yet think) we do know is a disease.

Our conjectures pass upon us for truths; we will know what we do not know, and often, what we cannot know: so mortifying to our pride is the base suspicion of ignorance.

Behold, we know not anything;
I can but trust that good shall fall
At last — far off — at last, to all,
And every winter change to spring.

One day everything will be well, that is our hope. Everything's fine today, that is our illusion

We reach vague-gesturing hands, we lift our heads,
Hear sounds far off,—and dream, with quivering breath,
Our curious separate ways through life and death.

We always say, one day we will laugh at this. I always try to make sure that this one day is today…

I think we're all a little bit crazy. But once we figure that out, we can start doing something about it.

History, if it has taught us anything at all, has taught us that the strange ideas we deride today will one day be our celebrated truths.

Science has always said that it may not know everything now but it will know, eventually. But now we see that isn’t true. It is an idle boast. As foolish, and as misguided, as the child who jumps off a building because he believes he can fly.

We are confused and bemused, and think that it’s a momentary delusion that will soon dissipate, leaving our lives to continue as they were.

Either we shall find what it is we are seeking or at least we shall free ourselves from the persuasion that we know what we do not know.
