If you do bad things for reasons you’ve been told are good, does it make you a bad person?

Accept the truth, and make peace with it.

You look at yourself and you accept yourself for who you are, and once you accept yourself for who you are you become a better person.

By accepting people you’re not condoning their weakness or agreeing with their opinion; you’re simply affirming their intrinsic worth.

"I don't consider myself as a bad person, on the whole I consider myself a good person, I'm good to my parents. I treat my girl right… take her out and buy her stuff. And I go to church every Sunday, But I've decided that just once I wanna do a really bad thing. I mean a really seriously bad thing. 'cause, ya know, like, we're put on this earth with free will. We can choose to do this or that. We can choose to be good or bad. But sometimes I think most people are good and not bad only because they're scared they might go to jail or hell or someplace. Some guy once said: "Anything done out of fear has no moral value" Well, I think that's right. I figure the only way you can be truly good is if you've tried been good, and you've tried being bad, and being good feels better."

I’ve heard it said that technology makes a good person better, and it makes a bad person worse. That’s okay with me. I say we keep building new versions of ourselves, keep exploring the unknown, and keep growing.
We’re gonna be fine. Different, but fine.
Because most people are good. Right?

Accept yourself, your strengths, your weaknesses, your truths, and know what tools you have to fulfill your purpose.

A truly good person will speak truth, act with truth, and stand for Truth. A truly good person is not afraid to think from their heart; therefore, allowing nonconformist decisions, viewpoints, and perspectives to lead their life. By following their heart, they stand with their conscience, and only with God.

You must try to understand truthfully what makes you do things or feel things. Until you have been able to face the truth about yourself you cannot be really sympathetic or understanding in regard to what happens to other people. But it takes courage to face yourself and to acknowledge what motivates you in the things you do.

You aren’t a better person for feeling guilty or bad about yourself, just a sadder one

If they’re going to take down my words for telling the truth, that’s OK.

Admitting that “I don’t know” at least once a day will make you a better person.

And isn't it a bad thing to be deceived about the truth, and a good thing to know what the truth is? For I assume that by knowing the truth you mean knowing things as they really are.
