All meaningful change requires a genuine surrender. Yet, to surrender does not simply mean to give up; more to give up one’s usual self and allow something other to enter and redeem the lesser sense of self. In surrendering, we fall to the bottom of our arguments and seek to touch the origin of our lives again. Only then can we see as we were meant to see, from the depth of the psyche where the genius resides, where the seeds of wisdom and purpose were planted before we were born.

Surrender is giving oneself up to the original cause of one's being. Do not delude yourself by imagining this source to be some God outside you. One's source is within oneself. Give yourself up to it. That means that you should seek the source and merge in it. Because you imagine yourself to be out of it, you raise the question, 'Where is the source'?

When you surrender, the problem ceases to exist. Try to solve it,or conquer it, and you only set up more resistance. I am very certain now that, as I said therein, if I truly become what I wish to be, the burden will fall away. The most difficult thing to admit, and to realize with one’s whole being, is that you alone control nothing.

Surrendering is the free-falling backwards into the unknown and trusting that The Universe will catch you.

Surrendering is the part where you hand the job over to The Universe.

Surrender is surrender to this moment, not to a story through which you interpret this moment and then try to resign yourself to it. … Can you accept the isness of this moment and not confuse it with a story the mind has created around it? (Ch 6)

You must have something in order to give it up.

We all have to surrender our need for our world to be ordered according to our conceptions of justice, logic, and rational motives. Just as you must have realized by now that your world does not, in fact, revolve around you — that you have very little authority over your life and that even making it alive until sundown is not in your hands — you must reach the stage of spiritual maturity where you surrender to God.

Yes is the answer and you know that for sure. Yes is surrender, you got to let it, you got to let it go…

Try something different. Surrender.

Surrender to love, without allowing people to control us or keep us from caring for ourselves. Start by surrendering to love for yourself.

You have to surrender, at least a little bit, to be the best version of yourself possible.

Surrender yourselves then to be led and disposed of just as God pleases, with respect both to your outward and inward state.
