Be the flame, not the moth.

Why should I not regard this as desirable—not because the fire, burns me, but because it does not overcome me?

I'm a candle flame that sways in currents of air you can't see. You need to be the one who steadies me to burn.

I wish to go beyond the fire that burns me.

You won’t burn in hell. But be nice anyway.

A man must live like a great brilliant flame and burn as brightly as he can. In the end he burns out. But this is far better than a mean little flame.
