Effort is the unconstrained willingness to persevere through difficulty.

Success is dependent on effort.

In our everyday life we are usually trying to do something, trying to change something into something else, or trying to attain something. Just this trying is already in itself an expression of our true nature. The meaning lies in the effort itself. We should find out the meaning of our effort before we attain something.

All good things require effort. That which is worth having will cost part of your physical being, your intellectual power and your soul power. Let us ever keep in mind that life is largely what we make it.

no matter what your ability is, effort is what ignites that ability and turns it into accomplishment.

All areas of a person’s life, whether it is work, marriage, or raising children, require outward effort, and it is the effort itself that brings about happiness.

I must address the topic of whether the effort required for excellence worth it. I believe a life in which you do not try to extend yourself regularly is not worth living — but it is up to you to pick the goals you believe are worth striving for.

Effort: You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

When effort is needed, effort will appear. When effortlessness becomes essential, it will assert itself. You need not push life about. Just flow with it and give yourself completely to the task of the present moment, (…) Don't be afraid, don't resist, don't delay. Be what you are. There is nothing to be afraid of. Trust and try. Experiment honestly. Give your real being a chance to shape your life. You will not regret.

If there is effort, there is always accomplishment.

Difficulty is as needful to appreciation as labour is to existence.
