For peace to come, it is time for them - and all of us - to live up to our responsibilities.

Many leaders promise, we deliver.

My view is that this Government should move forward, but in order to move forward, there is a need for very serious thinking by the leadership on the situation in the country.

Let’s be knowledgeable and wise, and act on what we truly believe. Again, we got to look in the mirror, lead with humility, and acknowledge the values that are inherent to but also above politics. We’ve got to make choices, make stands, embrace new ideas, and preserve the traditions that can create true — true progress for the next generation. With real leadership, let’s start giving us — all of us, with real leadership — let’s start giving all of us good reason to believe that the American Dream is not an illusion.

Let us all be the leaders we wish we had.

Our government shouldn’t make promises we cannot keep — but we must keep the promises we’ve already made.

I think there's a few things that we need to be doing. So one is we have to stop treating leaders like superheroes. We are ordinary people attempting to do extraordinary things

As employees or members of the group, we need the courage to take care of each other when our leaders don't. And in doing so, we become the leaders we wish we had.

And I think that we have to think and listen to what the leader is saying and doing, rather than judge what’s in the closet.

So we need to let our leaders know this, that this is the future that we want for ourselves and for those we love, our children and our grandchildren

I've made it clear to the Prime Minister and Iraq's other leaders that America's commitment is not open-ended. If the Iraqi government does not follow through on its promises, it will lose the support of the American people; and it will lose the support of the Iraqi people. Now is the time to act.

I hear the voice of the people calling for a future in which every American is more secure in life and liberty and more able to pursue happiness. I hear the voice of people willing to make sacrifices today to achieve that kind of tomorrow. It's time for a president to listen to that rising voice and to amplify it. It's time for a president who can point the American people to the future within their reach, tell them what it will take to get there, and vigilantly remind them why it's worth fighting for. It's time for a president to stand up and remind the American people that we have promises to keep — promises to the world, promises to one another, promises to our children and to our grandchildren. In rededicating ourselves to to the hard work of fulfilling those promises, we restore America as the hope of the world and the vision of a brighter future.

World leaders should keep their word, particularly the developed countries.

Other leaders, not least the current president, have offered visionary words but few have the track record of Julius Maada Bio of acting on their pledges.
