Women have an important contribution to make.

Today there is more acceptance than ever before that women bring different experiences, perspectives, and skills to the table and make irreplaceable contributions to decisions, policies and laws that work better for all.

Women contribute significantly to the development agenda of their nations because they all make decisions that mould children and give life and society existence.

Thus the whole education of women ought to be relative to men. To please them, to be useful to them, to make themselves loved and honored by them, to educate them when young, to care for them when grown, to council them, to console them, and to make life agreeable and sweet to them — these are the duties of women at all times, and should be taught them from their infancy.

Educating young women and empowering women to come to decision-making tables is the strongest thing that we can do for the climate. When there are more women in boardrooms and in high-level positions in institutions, you get decisions that are wiser and longer term. Of course there are many men that also do this. But there is a tendency for women to be more collaborative, which is the basis of what we need to do, and they tend to think much more long term. [Women] have the first duty of care of our newborn children and hence, biologically, we’re geared towards that stewardship. But it is just plain stupid, frankly, not to use 50% of human potential. We are in such an emergency that we need to deploy 100% of our potential.

Women in top leadership positions can inspire and mentor upcoming academics. They would also be well placed to offer advice on how to overcome challenges along the academic path. And female leaders could be in positions where they can influence policies within their institutions and at the national levels.

Women need to participate in politics and when women are in government because they are mothers, they are caring, and they will ensure that our hospitals will work and our schools will function properly and everyone will be happy.

When women entered the workplace, many men were mentors to them and, in turn, also learned to respect women’s unique contributions (for example, their listening and facilitative skills). Now, as we give men responsibilities to care for children, women must be among the mentors, and we must also learn to respect men’s unique contributions.

the involvement of women in all spheres of life, especially politics, added value and had the ability to convince and pull multitudes along their vision.

An educated woman has the power to take control of her life and contribute to the leadership and governance of her country.

The education of the women stimulates and elevates that of the men.. because of their influence in the family as daughter, sister, wife or mother…They are not only a balm to the hardships of life but also an element that influences and guides men along the path of virtue, perversity or cowardice.

The role is to educate the whole of Zimbabwe not only the girl child. The advantage of an educated woman is that they become a power in society and there is no way they will raise uneducated children.

Education is crucial. In order for Women to fully participate in policymaking, in government, we need to look beyond primary education.

When a woman can be empowered she can, they are very important people in our society, I call on women to enroll in large numbers in the colleges and Universities so that they can be the catalyst for development in our region.
