Every individual has a place to fill in the world and is important in some respect, whether he chooses to be so or not.

Way I see it, everyone plays their own role in the world, and no role is more important than the other.

Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.

Every individual, irrespective of his status in society, irrespective of the position he holds, everybody is important, and any decision we take, should have a positive impact on the people.

I see my everyday life in a historical context. We are living in the midst of history; it's important that somebody keeps records.

The world turns on our every action, and our every omission, whether we know it or not.

In the last analysis, the essential thing is the life of individual. This alone makes history, here alone do the great transformations take place, and the whole future, the whole history of the world, ultimately springs as a gigantic summation from these hidden source in individuals.

Each of us, within the limits of our resources, is set to be an actor, in having a lead role in one's own life, but above all by committing to others...a profound truth [is] that everyone has a role to play in society beyond their own fate.

Now how I play a part, as an individual, in the foreseen course of history, I don't know. Perhaps I have no definite part, since the Plan leaves individuals to indeterminacy and free will. But I am important and they — they, you understand — may at least have calculated my probable reaction. So I distrust my impulses, my desires, my probable reactions.

Every tribe has a responsibility to the workings of the universe; today as yesterday, human beings play an intrinsic role in the ongoing creation.

Every man has a history worth knowing, if he could tell it, or if we could draw it from him.

Each one of us matters, has a role to play, and makes a difference. Each one of us must take responsibility for our own lives, and above all, show respect and love for living things around us, especially each other.

Everyone carries a part of society on his shoulders; no one is relieved of his share of responsibility by others. And no one can find a safe way out for himself if society is sweeping toward destruction. Therefore, everyone, in his own interests, must thrust himself vigorously into the intellectual battle. None can stand aside with unconcern; the interest of everyone hangs on the result. Whether he chooses or not, every man is drawn into the great historical struggle, the decisive battle into which our epoch has plunged us.

History is important. If you don't know history it is as if you were born yesterday. And if you were born yesterday, anybody up there in a position of power can tell you anything, and you have no way of checking up on it.
