If you're trying to get a lot of money and attention and cars and just stuff like that, being in a band is a really bad way to do it, because it takes a lot of work, it's constant work, it's very grueling, and you don't really have time to spend money. So that would probably not even make my top 10 list of ways to make a lot of money, because records aren't selling anymore. The richest musician in America still doesn't even come close to a mid-level athlete.

If you really want to make money, never make a decision based on money. 'Cause if you make-- if you chase money, you're gonna get less of it. A lot of musicians don’t learn the business. You just have to be well-rounded in both areas. You have to understand publishing. You have to understand how you make money, what’s in demand, what helps you make the most out of your talent.

we don’t earn much in terms of copyright and you know a lot of artists have been trying to fight so that people get paid for their music.If a song plays in radio or in a club and we are earning from it, we should be earning from it but that law is still very week but we are working on it.

You can but no one knows about you.

There is nothing reliable to be learned about making money. If there were, study would be intense and everyone with a positive IQ would be rich.

Most musicians remain poor. But the music that they make, even if it does not bring them millions, gives millions of people happiness.

Music is not a very stable business. You know it comes and it goes, and so does money. But your education stays with you for the rest of your life and when you have that education and you have nothing fall back on you can go and get a job anywhere.

Music is everybody's business. It's only the publishers who think people own it
