Faith strengthens the forces of the soul the most. Through true and deep faith in God, the Savior, each person and the entire nation is able to continually draw from the eternally living source as much strength as their souls can perceive.

We learn to tread more warily, to trust less to our own strength, to have lower thoughts of ourselves, and higher thoughts of Him; in which two last particulars, I apprehend what the Scripture means by a growth of grace does properly consist. Both are increasing in the lively Christian — every day shows him more of his own heart, and more of the power, sufficiency, compassion, and grace of his adorable Redeemer; but neither will be complete till we get to Heaven.

Faith grows when we assume the position of one who can’t do it all by himself. That means we go to God, follow Him, and ask Him for help.

How long God will preserve my strength to perform as I have done of late he only knows. May I trust in him at all times and do good and hee will fullfill his promis according to my Day. May he giv me strength and may I Conduct accordingly.

I have come to understand that strength, inner strength, comes from receiving love as much as it comes from giving it...God's love will never change us if we don't accept it.

God was right behind me, making me strong to build my character, to be good and not bad. I prayed never to hurt people like that. The other thing I did was to visualize myself happy in the future, and that gave me strength. God does not give you glory and goodness all your life; you have to grow and learn.

Be sure that God
Ne'er dooms to waste the strength he deigns impart.

As you walk with God, your faith will grow, your confidence will increase and your prayers will have real power.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
