So don’t quit just yet…you’re closer to the finishing line of your challenge than you think.

No matter what you were thinking beforehand, no matter what you got going on, when it's time to get on that line, nothing changes that. The race not gonna be called back; it's not going to be postponed. When that gun goes off, it's about getting down there.

I'm always grateful to be on the starting line and grateful to see the finish line just like every other 30,000 runners out there. I'm just like them. The conditions are tough today, but it's just so great to be here.

Don’t worry how or where you begin. As long as you keep moving, your success will arrive far from where you start.

Someone once asked me if I had a favorite distance. My answer was easy: the closer the better.

The further you go, the more you have to be proud of. At the same time, in order to come a long way, you have to be behind to begin with. IN the end, though maybe it's not how you reach a place that matters. Just that you get there at all.

It's not where you start or even what happens to you along the way that's important. What is important is that you persevere and never give up on yourself.

You can always go further if you keep working

Anyone placed at exactly the same distance between yourself and your enemy will always appear closer to your enemy.

The hardest thing is always getting to the starting line and having the courage to do it. Most adventures fail because they are never done.

Every step, even a tentative one, counts.

And remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come.
