Reason is not what decides love.

Love cannot be forced, love cannot be coaxed and teased. It comes out of heaven, unasked and unsought.

Love cannot be explained, yet it explains all.

But reason does not govern love.

Love is not love if it compelled by reason and driven by logic — love exists in spite of those things, not because of them. It is a emotion which needs no fuel to fire it or oxygen to feed it; if you have to look for the why, then stop looking; it was never there at all.

To a person in love, the value of the individual is intuitively known. Love needs no logic for its mission.

Wisdom comes not from reason but from love.

Love can't be pinned down by a definition, and it certainly can't be proved, anymore than anything else important in life can be proved.

Love is never governed by Reason.

Love, it seems, arrives not only unannounced, but so accidentally, so randomly, as to make you wonder why you, why anyone, believes even fleetingly in laws of cause and effect.

Love neither rules, nor is unmoved; also it is a little oblivious as to morals. It does not look to the future; for it finds its own reward in the immediate present.

Reason is powerless in the expression of Love.

Certain things in life simply have to be experienced -and never explained. Love is such a thing.

Love is what happens to men and women who don't know each other.
