Life has taught me to give without expecting anything in return.

You cannot have a perfect day without helping others with no thought of getting something in return.

Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.

Helpful people don’t ask “how can I help?” They just help.

Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again

The trick is to help others without believing yourself to be, or acting like you are, their savior.

I try not to speak about all the charities and people I help, because I believe we can only be truly generous when we expect nothing in return.

Perhaps we all give the best of our hearts uncritically -- to those who hardly think about us in return.
