We are the most impassioned ugly people.

We are ill-favored, but still we endure. Every once in a while, we must scream this as far as the wind can carry our voices. "Nou lèd, nou la!" We are ugly, but we are here! And here to stay.

Me and Richey can’t write music but we can write lyrics and look pretty tarty.

That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it

The whole concept of this band is to present the ugly truth about society – warts and all, and let the chips fall where they may.

We are as ugly as animals in our fashion, and unless we deal with the ugliness in ourselves, unless we deal with the violence in ourselves, the brutality in ourselves, and find some way to sublimate it, just to use Freud's term, into something slightly higher, we're never going to get anywhere with anything.

We sound like the Bay City Rollers after an assault by Black Sabbath. And, we vomit onstage better than anyone.
