In the face of darkness, it is kindness that lights the way.

Don't forget: hold somebody's hand through the dark.

Thanks, God, for honoring our best by giving us a miracle.

Be generous in prosperity and thankful in adversity,

Be a lamp unto those who walk in darkness, and a home to the stranger.

Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring.

Be a breath of life to the body of humankind, a dew to the soil of the human heart,

and a fruit upon the tree of humility.

Seeing with the eyes of Christ, I can give to others much more than their outward necessities; I can give them the look of love which they crave.
